I’m so happy I got to meet Tara and Oliver for this fun-loving maternity session at Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert.  They were so easy going and perfect to photograph to show how much love they have for their baby boy on the way.  Tara has that “glow” that we all hope for during pregnancy.  I told her once and I’ll say it again, narrowing down my choices from all the raw images I shot was difficult because she could not take a bad photo, true story!  They are going to be amazing parents and I can’t wait to meet him next month for a newborn session.  Enjoy!

I knew I’d love working with Kylee + Scott from the moment we sat down to discuss wedding packages.  She was all smiles, as usual, and her personality is infectious!  I was lucky enough to meet Scott before our session, when he snuck away from the big city to come to AZ for a friend’s wedding I was shooting (the lovely Katelin + Josh, dreamy wedding).  From the moment I saw these two get down on the dance floor, I knew we’d have a ton of fun in NYC for their upcoming engagement session.  And, yes we did! I had the hubs travel with me, so carrying my bags was a plus.  And, Kylee’s mom and friend came to help as well.  We were all wearing our walking shoes (except these two of course) and got to explore some amazing locations in Manhattan.  The first shot is my fav! Mainly because we actually (for about 20-30 seconds) got a break in the crowds and crazy bikers, to capture them without anyone in sight. (sigh)  Needless to say, we all had a blast fighting the crowds, people watching, finding little niches to escape and experiencing a genuine NYC taxi ride.  I am so excited for these two to finally be together, living together in the same city after their AZ wedding in October! They are perfect for each other and deserve all the happiness in the world!

These smiles say it all! So,so happy for my friend Johnny and his darling wife Heather!  I just saw him yesterday when he was picking up his CDs, and he had the same smile! So great.  The fist pump/cheers on the front steps of the Arizona LDS Temple never get old for me.  The expressions are priceless and if you noticed the extra tall guy in the back.. no, he is not on stilts! They have some tall genes in the Heap family.  Ah, I can’t wait for these two to have precious little babies, and they will be beautiful! The color on these photos are amazing with the AZ light (but don’t let that fool you, it was hot).  Luckily, these two are not only beautiful, I don’t think they sweat.  By the time the reception rolled around, we ended up having pretty good weather to be thankful for.  To see their engagement session, click here. ENJOY!

Lisa + Sam came to visit me in Taylor/Snowflake to get out of the heat, and take advantage of this beautiful scenery.  I’m going gaga over this session, with this adorable couple and these clouds.  Thank you for making the drive, it was completely worth it.  Stay posted for their October wedding.  Enjoy!
